Bosco Falconeria Nero D’avola

Red wine vinegar | Organic

Another pantry essential. Made from their own Nero d’Avola wine, it is a typically Sicilian traditional vinegar, strong but rich in aromas and taste. The type of grape and the production techniques of both the wine and the vinegar confer a deep red colour. It is excellent with vegetables, fish and roast meat.

Simeti Family – Sicily – Italy

The farm at Bosco Falconeria, located some 40 miles west of Palermo in the hills overlooking the Gulf of Castellammare has belonged to the Simeti family since 1933. Then it was a 25-acre farm dedicated mainly to vineyards, with a cellar in which there were seven platforms for treading the grapes. For the last ten years Bosco Falconeria has bottled its own organic extra virgin olive oil, makes & and bottles a selection of organic wines with indigenous grapes as well as their own vinegars. The family have long been members of the Addiopizzo movement, campaigning against Mafia extortion of Sicilian businesses.

Our happy customers

I ordered the prosecco and the olive oil. The Olive oil is delicious and fresh there are some lovely earthy flavours. I can taste the love it was made with! The prosecco was smooth and subtle perfect for a warm afternoon. It complimented my roasted veggies in the garden! It is wonderful to know these products were sourced from small farms and are made by passionate people.
Thank you so much!!

Very impressive first couple of orders – the still Prosecco was exquisite & the oil and balsamic vinegar bring that feeling of Mediterranean sunshine to our Yorkshire table.

Susan, Hebden Bridge

Brilliant organic products, beautifully packaged using NO plastic. I loved the balsamic vinegar in my first delivery and can’t wait to find out what comes with my next order
